As a mechanic you will be responsible for:

*repairing and servicing motor vehicles of all types in accordance with the company standards and in a safe and efficient manner.

*carry out repairs and servicing to the highest standard and appropriate specification.

*test and diagnose faults, providing written reports on component defects and/or systems with impending failure.

*have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently as was as part of a team.

Responsibilities as a Commercial Tyre Fitter:

Manage a list of accounts ensuring that all vehicles are inspected, and any work required is carried out

Complete all aspects of tyre fitting and maintenance including Roadside Breakdowns and On-Site Service
Carry out fleet inspections and service work to prolong the life cycle of customer tyres
Manage stock effectively and accurately in line with the Warehouse Management System guidelines
Knowledge of and compliance with Company Health and Safety Policies and Procedures, specific awareness required concerning lone working and working at the roadside
Ensure all tools and equipment are kept in good working condition, reporting any defects
Work collaboratively with your Depot colleagues to support customers
